Even without purchasing land and/or buildings, church planting is expensive. Often Annual Conferences are torn between placing a high-potential leader in a new church or an existing church. Some even struggle with what to do with younger clergy who may not have "paid their dues enough" to put them on an opportunity like a new church start.
If you truly assess and discern that an individual has a high affiity for a mission field that is ripe for the harvest, you are prudent to help the planter select a Path 1 Coach. Not only will they help the planter figure out how best to tap into their own potential, they will give the project the best shot possible.
